Qx Fibre Interface

The Qx Fibre interface was conceived as an add-on to our Qx and Q3 cameras.

It allows the camera to be sited remotely, and connected back via inexpensive single-mode fibre. Control data, genlock, and HD-SDI signal are sent over one pair of fibers without the need for any additional hardware.

We can also offer this in a different form, either integrated into the Qx interface for new cameras, or as a retro-fit to existing Qx and Q3 owners.

The Qx fibre option provides a robust means of passing SD/HD-SDI from the camera to the control position and an audio link for data in the reverse direction, plus genlock over two single mode LC fibres.
